Have we shot another three cards already? We most certainly have.
Summer weather and a lot of practice seem to have slowly but surely pushed the scores gradually up, at least for some of us, Paul Salmon continues to post high scores, but this round he has been pushed, and on one occasion beaten by Paul Gould. This week I even got lucky myself, but that was due to exceptional weather here at No.49 Range, in PSG’s case it is down to fine shooting.
It continues to amaze me that the scores across the whole scoresheet are so close, given that we span four counties and a couple of hundred miles from PSG in Cornwall to Herbie on the far side of Somerset. Yes I know that tactical timing plays its part, Paul Salmon and Herbie shooting at stupid o’clock in the morning and me shooting close to dusk at times, but that is part of the fun and the appeal and let’s face it, when there are gales there are gales… and we still shoot.
Keep up the practice chaps and the scores will take care of themselves.
