SWEFTA Winter League – Round 4 – Duchy

A really good day at Duchy FTC.  Lots of hard work has gone on since our Summer visit last June. The conditions were somewhat tricky to read, with a swirling wind, light rain and some heavy hail (proper cornish weather). Many people, myself included found the conditions very hard to read, and for the last 10 targets at the top of the course, I only managed to knock over 1 standing target. Everyone enjoyed the day despite the conditions and the atmosphere was brilliant. I think my take on the day was:

  1. I need to practice much more and actually get used to my gun again
  2. I can’t be brilliant all the time unfortunately
  3. I still enjoyed it even if I did miss more than I hit
