Sunday morning I had to check my Sat Nav, yes, I am definitely at Dartmoor, but it is warm, and there is hardly a breeze and what little breeze there is seems to be drifting left to right rather than blasting in the opposite direction. And so the day began, and what a corker of a day it was, last shoot of the year and done and dusted for some but all to play for with others.
Both courses were great and perfectly set for the weather conditions, top scores were good and close but every target had to be worked for, ideal.
Thanks to all at Dartmoor for putting on a blinder of a shoot and an excellent close to the season and thanks to SWEFTA’s own travelling chef’s (and purveyors of fine cakes) Ann and Roz for sustaining us all day. Did you try the Eccles cakes? No! You missed a treat.
Note: HUGE thanks to Paul Jackson for standing in for Graham in his absence. We are aware that there are one or two errors in these results but Paul is working on them.
